Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy
London E12
Welcome
Hello and welcome. I'm a UKCP trainee psychotherapist practising in east London. I offer a non-judgmental and confidential space within which to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. A place for you to be fully received, exactly as you are.
Perhaps you are feeling depressed, stuck, or anxious. You might be struggling in relationship or having difficulty with a past trauma - or maybe you don’t find it easy to put words to your suffering. Whatever brings you here, I would like to acknowledge you for taking the first step in exploring help. It can take real courage to do this, especially for the first time.
At the heart of my approach is a belief in our inherent freedom and completeness. Beneath our conditioned behaviours and coping strategies lies an untouched state of being. It is the source of our vitality, wellbeing, and sense of connectedness.
Psychotherapy gently encourages awareness of how this intrinsic state of health might be obscured, shining a light on our habitual responses without bypassing the very real feelings that we experience. Awareness and compassion can bring transformation to even the most severe distress.
Whether you are navigating specific difficulties, facing a general sense of unease, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am here to support you.
“Feelings like disappointment, embarrassment, irritation, resentment, anger, jealousy, and fear, instead of being bad news, are actually very clear moments that teach us where it is that we're holding back.” ~Pema Chodron
